Volunteer and Internship Opportunities

Get trained to assist with addiction recovery support groups!

Conduct local marketing/outreach activities, assist with face-2-face and/or online meetings, and/or learn to facilitate a “non-step” type of support group. We are looking for interested volunteers to help with our goals to grow in the province of Quebec and Canada.  We want to launch SMART in French.  We are looking for someone who is bilingual (training is only in English at this time) to start a national SMART meeting online in French.  We want to grow SMART across Canada in both official languages.

Personal history of alcohol or other drug abuse not necessary …
all that’s required is an open mind and a desire to learn more about
addictions and how to help those in need.  We are a secular, solution-oriented
recovery organization that can work in conjunction with a spiritual practice, or stand
alone.

We are especially eager to start meetings in French as well as a “Family & Friends”
meetings, but we need more volunteers in order to do so.
